Poppy ebru with marbled border

Lilac and White Poppy

incl. shipping · Outside the EU, customs/import duties may apply (paid by recipient).

As poppies do, it rises on a long, slender stem, holding the blossom high while the leaves stay gathered below. A white rim lifts the petals away from the pale ground and gives the violet beneath them depth. In the border, threads of gold wind through the magenta — no brush involved, only colour drifting on water. A small note: this sheet is mounted on board, with the border and gold rule added by hand afterwards. Left unframed, board can gently curve over time — behind glass it stays flat for good. That is why we like best to send it out framed. A frame of your own is just as welcome, though: it should measure 30 × 40 cm.
